Virginia Stamey, of Virginia Stamey Interior Design, is a graduate of the University of Washington, School of Art, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.  Since graduating in 1979, she has worked as an interior designer both commercially and residentially.

Her professional career began as a designer for Westin Hotels.  This gave her extensive knowledge of the vast resources available to those in her profession, such as the numerous fabric, carpet and furniture lines, as well as the sources to do custom carpet, fabric and furniture.

Virginia Stamey started her own firm in 1982, concentrating primarily on residential work, still doing some commercial work.  Throughout her professional life, she has traveled adding to her education by opening her eyes and mind to new ideas.

Her knowledge of art and architecture, of resources and suppliers, coupled with her many years of experience, gives her the ability to work with each client to ensure that their job achieves the end goal the client hoped for and more.
